Digital art is arguably the most popular use case for NFTs right now. A passionate community of artists and collectors has formed around it. Many of these people love to talk about their hobby. And some of them are so dedicated that they’ve created their own podcasts.

In fact, we’ve actually got plenty of great podcasters covering the NFT art market in both audio and video form. Some do interviews, some cover the latest news, and some focus on a specific blockchain or platform. But they all help you learn and stay informed about NFT art. Enjoy!

Collector’s Corner

Collector’s Corner puts out multiple awesome episodes a week. They’re doing weekly recaps of the biggest NFT art sales and noteworthy stories, as well as hour-long spotlights on individual artists, collectors, and projects.

I love the hosts’ thoughtful discussions and how they nerd out on the market data behind the art. In addition to the art itself, they often look at price charts, average cost basis, sales listings, and other relevant data for individual collections.

While you can certainly gain a lot just from listening to the conversations on this show, I’d highly recommend YouTube for this one. They also put out their weekly recap as a Substack newsletter, which I love to read as a companion to the video podcast.

Waiting to be Signed

Waiting To Be Signed is a podcast dedicated to fxhash, the leading generative art platform on Tezos. It’s primarily a conversation between the two hosts, Trinity and Will, but they regularly bring on artists and other notable names as guests.

The hosts cover the latest big fxhash drops, their own buys (and sales), and what they’re keeping an eye on. I love their analyses and discussions, and the podcast has quickly become one of my favorites. It’s definitely one to check out if you’re into Tezos art (which you obviously should be).

Arbitrarily Deterministic

Arbitrarily Deterministic is another podcast dedicated to art on the Tezos blockchain. The second season was just concluded in December last year, bringing it to a total of 26 episodes of interviews with some of the leading artists and collectors in the space.

The host, known as Kenconsumer, is a prolific Tezos artist himself and a self-proclaimed “serial experimenter”. He does a great job of unpacking his guests’ stories, experiences, and perspectives on the market in an informal and entertaining way. Give it a listen and hear for yourself!

PROOF

The PROOF podcast runs two individual shows on NFT art. They’re very different yet equally interesting and jam-packed with valuable information.

100 PROOF

While also covering avatar projects, collectibles, and other important NFT news, 100 PROOF always skews heavily toward art-related topics. The podcast comes out weekly in the form of an in-depth conversation between the two hosts, Kevin Rose and Derek Edwards.

Kevin is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and founder of PROOF, one of the leading brands in the NFT art world. Derek is a partner at Collab+Currency, a crypto-focused hedge fund, as well as an avid NFT collector and market participant. I could listen to these guys talk about NFTs all day long.

I also love when they mix things up though. They recently went live from Art Basel Miami Beach and an Art Blocks event in Marfa, for instance. Tim Ferriss, Erick Calderon (founder of Art Blocks), and many other high-profile names have been featured in these shows. Also, check out this guide I wrote if you want to learn more about Art Blocks.

Artist and project spotlights

In addition to 100 PROOF, Kevin Rose and fellow PROOF team member Sam (aka NFTstatistics) do regular interviews with some of the top artists and founders in the NFT space.

Recent guests include artists Claire Silver, Grant Yun, Dmitri Cherniak, Alpha Centauri Kid, and Tyler Hobbs. They’ve also interviewed top NFT collector Cirrus and the founder of 9GAG and NFT project Memeland.

Node Mode

If you’re already in the NFT space, you’re likely familiar with The Morning Show hosted by Pio, NFTNik, Kix, and other prominent names. It’s one of the most popular Twitter Spaces and a go-to source for the hottest NFT news for many in the space.

What fewer people know is that The Nifty also hosts another show that airs approximately once a week. And this one is all about NFT art.

Node Mode is hosted by an experienced NFT collector who goes by the name Node. He brings on a new guest for each episode and interviews them about their background, experience in the NFT space, and perspectives on the latest news.

The guests include some of the top collectors, artists, and founders in the NFT space. While Node himself is primarily collecting on the Ethereum blockchain, many of his guests share their insights from Tezos and Solana as well.

The Dankness

The Dankness is a new podcast hosted by Dan Sickles and Jason Bailey (aka Artnome). As two experienced collectors and creators in the NFT space, they leverage their experience and network to bring on prominent artists for long-form conversations about all things NFTs.

Their first guests were legendary NFT artists Josie Bellini, ROBNESS, and Sarah Zucker. I’m excited to see who they bring on next!

Fun fact, I learned about the podcast when Artnome recently visited the Node Mode podcast (mentioned above). He shared his fascinating story as one of the very earliest collectors in the NFT space. I highly recommend you go check out that interview as well.

Two Bored Apes

Last but certainly not least, we’ve got one of my all-time favorite NFT podcasts. And while the hosts of Two Bored Apes cover more than just art, they deserve a mention because of their particular interest in all things Art Blocks, fxhash, and generative art in general.

One of the hosts, Jaime, is an artist himself. His co-host Roy (aka Zeneca) is one of the most successful project founders, community leaders, and collectors in the space. They primarily talk about the latest and upcoming art drops, as well as their own purchases and what’s on their wishlists.

The best way to describe the podcast is as a nerdy NFT conversation between two friends. Roy and Jaime don’t take themselves too seriously and always find themselves going down a few tangents during their recordings. Expect to hear (a lot) about recent meals and other random topics.

And there you have it. Seven great podcasts that will bring you insightful interviews with top artists and collectors, as well as analysis of the latest news and upcoming drops. If you’re interested in NFT art, I’m sure you’ll enjoy at least some of these shows.

Let me know what you think and if you’ve got any other recommendations for me. As if my playlist isn’t already long enough, I’m always on the lookout for entertaining and educational new podcasts.
